Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
4 slices thick-cut bacon
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 brioche buns
4 tbsp cream cheese or ranch spread
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: garlic powder, hot sauce, chives
Instructions
1. Form 4 burger patties, handling gently.
2. Season patties with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder.
3. Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp; set aside.
4. Sear patties over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side.
5. Add cheese in last minute of cooking, cover to melt.
6. Toast buns lightly on the skillet or grill.
7. Spread cream cheese or ranch on bottom bun.
8. Layer patty, bacon, and top bun.
9. Let rest 2–3 minutes, then serve.
